The Location: Beautiful Joe Park

The town of Meaford is located on the south shore of Georgian Bay, midway between Collingwood and Owen Sound. A scenic couple of hours from downtown Toronto brings you to Meaford, on Highway 26, in the heart of the Georgian Triangle.

The picturesque Beautiful Joe Park is located on 8.5 acres of land along the Bighead River at the junction of Edwin and Berry Streets, a short walk along tree lined streets from downtown Meaford. When driving from the south, turn left at the stoplight at Highway 26 (Sykes St) and Trowbridge Street (first light past the bridge) and follow the road for about 1km until you reach the river. If coming from the west on Highway 26, turn right at the light at Trowbridge Street. Meaford can be accessed by regular scheduled bus lines from Toronto and Barrie.
